چکیده
Inorganic–organic hybrid biomaterials made with star polymer poly(methyl methacrylate-co-3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate) and silica, which show promising mechanical properties, are 3D printed as bone substitutes for the first time, by direct ink writing of sol. Three different inorganic:organic ratios methacrylate)-star-SiO2 inks pore channels in range 100–200 µm. Mechanical properties scaffolds fall within trabecular bone, MC3T3 pre-osteoblast cells able to adhere vitro, regardless their compositions. Osteogenic angiogenic shown using a rat calvarial defect model. Hybrid 40:60 composition instigate new vascularized formation its polarize macrophages toward M2 phenotype. printing inorganic–organic hybrids sophisticated structure opens up possibilities produce novel graft materials.

Development of an antibacterial porous scaffold for bone defect treatment
Background & Aim: The use of bone scaffolds is one of the new and efficient techniques for repairing bone defects that provide a suitable platform for cell proliferation and growth to repair the target tissue. One of the most important causes of failure of transplants and surgical procedures is the invasion of bacteria at the site of the complication and the development of severe infection. The...

Objective (s): Artificial bone implants have been studied as a possible bone replacement for fractured and destroyed facial tissue; the techniques employed to determine the success of the dental implants. The stability, porosity and resistance of the bone implant which is subjected to varying forces and stresses within the surrounding bone is a subject of interest among the dentists. Materials ...

The aim of the present study was to prepare and characterize bioglass-natural biopolymer based composite scaffold and evaluate its bone regeneration ability. Bioactive glass nanoparticles (58S) in the size range of 20-30 nm were synthesized using sol-gel method. Porous scaffolds with varying bioglass composition from 10 to 30 wt% in chitosan, gelatin matrix were fabricated using the method of f...
متن کاملIntrinsic Osteoinductivity of Porous Titanium Scaffold for Bone Tissue Engineering
Large bone defects and nonunions are serious complications that are caused by extensive trauma or tumour. As traditional therapies fail to repair these critical-sized defects, tissue engineering scaffolds can be used to regenerate the damaged tissue. Highly porous titanium scaffolds, produced by selective laser sintering with mechanical properties in range of trabecular bone (compressive streng...
